Love it when things go to a GREAT home Here we have Lori Baliva (mum) who married her high school sweetheart from Delta. They had four kids, two pictured here, Lora Baliva and Lisa Baliva who all went to Delta and came in to the store today to purchase a piece of Hamilton History from a High school that will soon be dealt another hand.

Thanks to the gentleman who had this in his garage for the last 50 years. GO DELTA!

Original Advertising fan for the Dionne Quintuplets-1936

I really like these old fans...the fact that they are paper and advertsing is a great collectible for fan collectors. I actually have a couple personally.

The Dionne Quintuplets often did advertising to support themselves and this is actually for Wager bros, the manufacturers of Ginger Ale and High grade soft drinks from Troy NY.

Chicago 1934 World';s Fare -technological inovation
Chicago 1934 World';s Fare -technological inovation

Just love the colours of this tim bank from 1934-held in Chicago.

A Century of Progress International Exposition was the name of a World's Fair held in Chicago from 1933 to 1934 to celebrate the city's centennial. The theme of the fair was technological innovation. The fair's motto was "Science Finds, Industry Applies, Man Conforms"; its architectural symbol was the Sky Ride, a transporter bridge perpendicular to the shore on which one could ride from one side of the fair to the other.

1930's good luck coin

SOLD
1930's good luck coin
1930's good luck coin

Just in at Weird Stuff an original 1930's good luck coin with the all seeing eye.

Prior to WW2 when the original good luck sign was perverted.

This good luck symbol before World War 2 was commonly used on variety of objects as a symbol of luck. It was fashionable to put swastika on cars, post cards, beer cans and whisky bottles, post cards and even passports of Soviet soldiers, among others. You may be surprised to learn that Carlsberg and Coca-Cola used swastika on their bottles. And until today, Swastika is still used in Japan as a symbol of luck. Before the war, the symbol was used internationally and was rather popular in Europe, USA ad Asia.
