Just love the colours of this tim bank from 1934-held in Chicago.

A Century of Progress International Exposition was the name of a World's Fair held in Chicago from 1933 to 1934 to celebrate the city's centennial. The theme of the fair was technological innovation. The fair's motto was "Science Finds, Industry Applies, Man Conforms"; its architectural symbol was the Sky Ride, a transporter bridge perpendicular to the shore on which one could ride from one side of the fair to the other.

Just in at Weird Stuff, from one of our youngest collectors at 16, a 1947 General Electric black and white TV one of the first ever made, and it WORKS!!!!

Just in at Weird Stuff an original 1930's good luck coin with the all seeing eye.

Prior to WW2 when the original good luck sign was perverted.

This good luck symbol before World War 2 was commonly used on variety of objects as a symbol of luck. It was fashionable to put swastika on cars, post cards, beer cans and whisky bottles, post cards and even passports of Soviet soldiers, among others. You may be surprised to learn that Carlsberg and Coca-Cola used swastika on their bottles. And until today, Swastika is still used in Japan as a symbol of luck. Before the war, the symbol was used internationally and was rather popular in Europe, USA ad Asia.

Just arrived at Weird Stuff the one and only Gollum/Smeagol from Lord of the Rings.

A limited edition extrememly detailed promotional casting for a few selected stores by Warner Brothers, to promote the first film Lord of the Rings.

So incredible to real life the resemblance is uncanny, and is a must have piece for any serious Tolken collector,or film buff.

Here is an incredible piece of craftsmanship circa 1900's. Made of wheat this religious scene is breathtaking. Who would have thought that one could make such a thing. The picture does not do it justice.I guess you could get alot done with no TV,internet or video games :)
